A DVLA Record Audit exists to answer one question with certainty: does DVLA’s official record of your driving history actually match what you think is on it?

Your DVLA record is the legal record — every endorsement, penalty point, and entitlement you hold is defined by what’s on file with DVLA, not by your own memory of past offences or renewals. Errors do happen: points that should have expired but haven’t been cleared, entitlements missing after a category upgrade, or details that don’t match your current photocard. Any of these can surface at the worst possible moment, from an insurance renewal to a job application requiring a clean licence check.

Our audit is a full administrative review of your current record against what should be there: every endorsement checked, every entitlement verified, and any discrepancy flagged with an explanation of what it means and how it’s typically corrected. You get a written report you can keep on file or share with an employer or insurer if needed.

To run the audit we need photo ID matching your licence, your licence number, National Insurance number, and a signed consent authorisation — since we’re requesting information tied to your driving record, DVLA (and we) need to confirm it’s genuinely you asking.
